Researchers in my lab use this kit extensively in a wide array of animals and substrates. Mouse plasma should work great. Just make sure to do the usual validations (parallelism, standard addition/accuracy) so that you know that there isn't anything in the plasma inhibiting your assay and so you can figure out the proper working dilution.
