We would like to exchange experiences and maybe get some informations about your work. We ourselves only work with humans in extreme environments. But as the animal model extends your possibilities it would be interesting what kind of knowledge is transferable.
Nourdine Faresse from our institute has experience with hypothermia and metabolism in mice. You can find him on researchgate as well.
Our group works with several animal models studying accidental hypothermia, both using pig, rat and rabbit for measuring hemodynamics and cardiac electrophysiology, but the models of course give the possibility to monitor more functions. Here are some examples:

although we have not been working with animals we did some cell culture experiments dealing with unspecific lymphocyte stimulation during hypothermal treatment. Maybe you find that data also interesting for your work?
