Does anyone have experience on 4T1 orthotopic model, surgical removal of the mass and relapse?

I'm setting up an orthotopic model with 4T1 cell line, injecting 20K cells into the fourth mammary gland, then I remove the mass to mimic a neoadjuvant therapeutic setting and start my treatments.

One question: does normally relapse occur after tumor removal?
