HI, I am a chemistry grad student at the University of Mississippi, and we have developed a protein-based gel material in which we need to obtain its rheological properties. Specifically, we are looking for collaboration with a research group that has experience with video particle tracking as well as the necessary instrumentation. Any suggestions are welcomed as well.

There are a couple of different techniques to perform micro-rheology experiments.
Dynamic light scattering (DLS)
Diffusive wave spectroscopy (DWS)
Particle tracking (usually using a confocal microscope).
There are commercial instruments available for performing micro-rheology measurements by DLS and DWS.
Could you perform a literature search for people using these techniques to locate a group suitably close to you to collaborate with?

True, but we are specifically interested in video particle tracking which works with small sample volumes (~10 uL). If I’m not mistaken, doesn’t Dynamic light scattering require a relatively large sample size (~1 mL)?
We’re already searching literature and trying to find a group to contact that is willing. Figured that it wouldn’t hurt to ask the community on this platform...

No harm in asking at all.
With regards to DLS, ~1ml is the typical volume used in a standard cuvette (10x10mm), however lower volume options exist that can use a 12ul volume ( e.g. https://www.malvernpanalytical.com/en/learn/knowledge-center/technical-notes/TN101104LowVolumeCuvetteSizeMeasurement).
At Malvern Panalytical we have recently introduces a new sample holder for volumes as low as 3ul, but I am not sure whether anyone has tried using this for micro-rheology as yet.
A range of difference cuvettes may also be used with a DWS system.
