If that's right maybe You can looking for the paper that You search at the Online Catalog in the University that has a Library and Information Science Program, such as: UIN Sunan Kalijaga; UGM; UI; UNPAD and etc by Type the Keyword "Minat Baca". There, You can find many Thesis related reading interests. Hope that helps.

I work with primary school students and not with high school students. We used chat application for communicating and playing games. If you consider this kind of environment as social media then yes, there interest in writing has increased. But I can not say it with complete confidence as i have not analysed my data with this angle. Though I have observed increase in their interest in writing.
