in addition to Carlos' answer, in general organo-metallic compounds are reactive to water vapour (or air)...so ....be aware of.
alkoxides are moisture sensitive. initially make a solution in alcohol and subsequently add to aqueous solution of other components.
Anhydrous alcohol and inert atmosphere. Water and the oxygen, both are very reactive with metallics alkoxides.
