From literature, I found that WO3 can be solubilized in hot NH4OH. But, I am unable to find the relevant amounts and conditions.
As I want to avoid HF, any relevant reading suggestions are also much appreciated. Thanks.
Tungsten oxide reacts with hydroxides
WO3 + 2NaOH = Na2WO4 + H2O.
Therefore, if you pick up stoichiometric quantities of substances, you will get a reaction mixture. In this case, do not talk about solubility, but talk about a chemical reaction. When ammonium hydroxide is heated, ammonia will be released. Therefore, the reaction must be done at room temperature or when heated in an autoclave in a closed vessel.
