I am looking for a protocol to glycerophosphate dehydrogenase to assay enzymatic activity on cryosection of soleus muscle. I tryed whit one using NBT and PMS but I did not have any reaction. those reagent are usually used to check GPD activity?, I am new on this topic, so I really appreciate your help!.
Did you include NADH and dihydroxyacetone phosphate?

Thank you Adam, But the protocol that I am looking for is to detect glycolitic fibers by glycerophosphate dehydrgenase activity, and it is a stain, very similar to SDH stain.
