Because CFU-GEMM colonies contain megakaryocytes, you can use CD44 along with CD13, CD14, CD33 antibodies on those colonies. For CFU-GM colonies, CD13, CD33, and CD14; for BFU-E and CFU-E: R10/glycophorin Ab. All of thes eare available from BD Biosciences. These would be useful if you are looking at antigens on cells from these colonies. There is no single antibody that is specific for any one of these colonies. You can of course use CD45 as a pan-leukocyte marker as well.
