The commercial graphite is purchased from the market. The spent graphite was collected from the separation of copper foils in the spent lithium-ion batteries. The following are the SEM images of these two samples. The first five photos are the commercial one and the latter six are the spent graphite.

Sergei Petrushenko Thank you for your attention, Sergei. I am doing a project about graphite recycle from spent lithium-ion batteries. That's why I generate the SEM images of commercial graphite and spent graphite for the purpose of comparison. And I need to analyze the structure of these two samples from the images and try to obtain any useful information or findings based on the SEM images. (Such as the surface morphology, particle size) As I am not really familiar with the SEM and not the Chemical or material engineering background. I would be grateful if the answer can be explained in detail or any related reference can be given. Thank you so much.
