I am very interested in the possible impact of radiation, espacially electromagnetic waves on insects. I searched several times in different online libraries, if there exists any research about VLF-waves or military used frequencies on insects, but did not found anything. The question is, if there exist no research or if there could in every case be no impact from this radiation on insects - and if yes, why? Or did I only not found it?
My actually hypothesis is, that the combination of both kind of waves- the radiation from mobile phones together with VLF-waves/military used frequencies could have an impact on insects.
I would like to start own research about if, but unfortunately I did not got any answers from institutes and scientists until now in Germany
I think the wavelength of electromagnetic wave proportional with type of tissue of body .Some biological tissue sensitive to low radiation but another as neuron cell not sensitive . The resewn about this different beyond to different in program cell kill ( apoptosis) . This mean the deposition of energy in biological cell also different
The VLF energy of military transmitters in the 20 Hz range is considerably lower than the unwanted and inevitable radiation of the power supply network (EU: 50 Hz, USA: 60 Hz). This energy is so high that sensitive devices (e.g. EKG and EEG) have to be protected in a complex manner.
