I used BET method to determine the surface area for carbon nanotubes. If you have sample with enough surface area this method may help to you. Good luck!
Dear Rinat Ismagilov, Thanks for your help! But as I know BET is applied for solid samples, I don't know if this method is adequate to determine the surface area for thin films, if yes could you explain me how it is done?
I'm not shure will it help or not. Anyway, I would to say, that this method may work in your case. This method based on adsorption of gas molecules and works on any solid sample. To determine the adsorption effect by weight you need "huge" surface area. If you are speaking about flat samples (without pores, tubes-like structure, wrinkles and etc.)... this method fails.
