Does anybody has experience with the use of CD8-Cre conditional KO mouse models? What is the efficiency of gene recombination?

Hi,

I am actually working with a CD8-Cre mouse model with my gene of interest flanked with two LoxP sites. Although my mice are expressing the Cre-recombinase and possess the two LoxP sites (verified by PCR), I have issues with the reproducibility of my datas as if the recombination was not efficient enough in some animals. Does anyone encountered a similar issue with these CD8-Cre mice?
