The citation Style: Non superscripted Number, Date: Tuesday, Otober 05, 2010. Discipline: Biotechnology. File Name: BMC Biotechnology.ens.Publisher: BioMed Central, URL: Based On: Bibliography Sor t Order.. For details consult https://www.endnote.com. -bmc-biotech. https;//www.endnote.com style_download
BfB follows the Vancouver style https://biotechnologyforbiofuels.biomedcentral.com/submission-guidelines/preparing-your-manuscript/research

Long answer:
However, the Vancouver style in Endnote is different than the one shown in BfB guidelines.
BfB in-text citations have square brackets and references do not contain issue number. The Endnote Vancouver style inserts round brackets and contains issue number. A new style with square brackets can be created by going in Endnote>Edit>Output Styles>Edit "Vancouver">Citations>Templates
But looking at the articles in BfB, the publishing department seems to accept both kinds: with and without issue number. I believe their software also automatically updates the brackets.
Your solution is extremely useful. Thank you very much for sharing. Just a small thing to note. Besides Citation formatting, references also need to format.
