By knowing the interests and talents you have, it will provide motivation (encouragement) to work on something that is your potential. You will diligently study, practice, and develop your talent knowing that it is the talent you really have.

A person's interests and talents will also influence his goals. Someone who knows his interests and talents can determine how he will continue his education or career in the future so that his assignments or work can be done better, without feeling forced.

Entering a major that suits their talents, interests, and abilities will make students comfortable studying. By knowing their talents, interests and abilities, prospective students can choose other majors.

Here are some ways you can do to find out your interests and talents.

1. Take an Interest and Aptitude Test. To find out what are your interests and talents, you can take this test. ...

2. Find Out About Hobbies. ...

3. Understand What You Like. ...

4. Asking People Closest. ...

5. Find New Experiences.

To the extension of others colleagues, to answers the above questions. In my opinion we need both specification and strong determination of what you want to do. But, Interdisciplinary work can helps in our strong desires of doing something which not specialized in that discipline.
