I work on integrating technology in the foreign language classroom to enhance students' motivation and generate learning. Very simple devices as power point and video projects proved to be successful with my students as far as students' motivation and involvement are concerned. I want to start a project using wikis and any point of view will be of a great help. Thank you in advance

I would expect that wiki's would also be beneficial if the classroom culture were one where students felt comfortable contributing to the larger group and building on one another's work. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any specific work in this area.
I've used wikis in domain-content courses (e.g., computer science) rather than language courses and felt that they were useful because they helped keep the content up to date and allowed the students a sense of ownership over the course. If you're going to use them in a language course and hope to tie their use to learning, then I would recommend using a wiki tool that tracks the different versions. This will allow you to attribute changes to individual authors and it will let you see how their language changes over time.
