The phenomenon of "Climate Change" is the result of and reaction of nature in response to greed deeds of people, governments, etc.

Greedy exploitation of natural resources, without replacement, for the sake development only, may be the very important reason of climate change.

Climate is not such type of phenomenon which can be stopped by only human beings. The nature is also responsible for it to a great extent. I wish to thank you Sir for the question you shared. We can try to minimize the issue, you have mentioned, to a good extent by cooperatively working under cbpc services as it is really a good venture as far as my knowledge is concerned. If we look at the whole global context, no. But if we analyze the focus of the reports, I assume, yes.

The trial and future use of weapons of mass destruction point to the capability of man to destroy earth's environment and earth itslef and indeed radically change its climate.

Reducing greenhouse gas emissions, which would reduce every warming impact regardless of whether it is good or bad, is but one approach to dealing with the consequences of warming. And it would likely be very costly. In fact, reducing emissions is unlikely to help poorer countries deal with most of the problems they face either today or in the future

I am afraid your question is a very loaded one. To claim there is enough water for everyone is a somewhat misleading statement. It is not the total amount of water that matters, it is the distribution (or accessibility) of clean potable water that concerns humanity. The amount of water within the hydrologic cycle is constant, but water changes from one form to another (solid-liquid-gas) and moves from one pool to another (glaciers, lakes, ocean, atmosphere, etc.) Extreme floods and droughts and water pollution put pressure on local populations. See the video "When the Water Ends" produced by Yale University (you can find the link on Google). Likewise, the claim that there is enough fresh air is also oversimplifying the problem. No one can deny pollutants are being released into air everyday, but air masses are not fixed in position, they move around and redistribute the pollutants. Whether you experience "fresh air" depends on your location relative to the pollutant source and dispersal, and whether you have the technology to locally purify the air. People who stay indoor breathing only filtered air may never get the impression of air pollution. 

Whether climate change phenomenon has been "exaggerated" by scientists--- what is the reference point? To people who feel at ease about the climate condition, they may think IPCC is an exaggeration. To those who feel compelled to act, they may think IPCC provides a valid assessment and guideline. Science is about getting the best evidence, not relying on personal belief or intuition. Climate change is a large scale, both spatially and temporally, and complex issue, and when we are trying to predict the future climate, it is not a simple black-and-white answer. Perhaps what we ought to consider is: Is it wrong to try to safe guard our water supply and to reduce air pollution?

At my age (62.5 years old), I have seen the climate changing since I became fully aware of the things around me at the end of the 1950s. We used to have sharp divisions between the 4 seasons but, now, we do not. We used to have mild mid-winters but, now, they are very cold. We used to have mild mid-summers but, now, they are very hot. In the past, a simple stove in winter was enough & a simple fan in summer was enough. At present, most houses cannot live without central heating & air conditioners.

I think scientists are NOT exaggerating. Their warnings must be taken seriously simply because their predictions do not come from vacuum but are based upon insightful observations & measurements. Prevention is far better than cure, as the wisdom says.  

In my country, 'climate change' or CHANGED WEATHER PATTERNS, TEMPERATURES AND RAINFALL PATTERNS are REAL.  But 'Climate change' is quite a sweeping phrase, in a way, 'exaggerated'.  What we should say of my country, Malaysia, is that the climate is TROPICAL, has always been tropical.  But if we allow deforestation to continue we will have more changed unpredictable weather, extremely hot days and changed rainfall patterns.  Noon day temperatures are around 34-36 C, they used to be about 28-30 C. 'What will it take to convince us that tackling climate change (aggravated by deforestation) should be a national priority in the coming year?

Last year was notable for the number of environmental crises that struck us.

1. The unusual and prolonged dry season and water shortages especially in Selangor and the Klang Valley. This alone should have been enough to tell us that something has gone seriously wrong in a country usually blessed with abundant tropical rainfall.

2. The disastrous landslide and flooding at Cameron Highlands.

3. The mini-tornadoes that caused havoc in Kedah (and the water spout in Penang?)'

[Just an analogy: when oil was discovered in Malaysia, it was estimated that the reserves would last 25 years.  That time is past, but the oil is still flowing without stop.

We need more that water, we need clean water, so that the thousands wouldn't be dying due to water borne diseases each day.]
