I really don’t have a preference working with men or with women. I guess I’ve been lucky in that we are all mature, respectful, and actually kind of fun to be around.
I dont think the gender matter its more about their work ethic and personality.
Some women can be great and some can be a nightmare to work with, the same applies to men.
So i don’t see how I could just choose one gender over the other.

I like to work with cooperative and competent colleague either male or female.
Your question is quite interesting. This approach vary from person to person. Many female are hesitant to work with males while they are too much frank and adjustable with same sex. Personally I think if the male feel easiness with same gender or the female with same sex then the work will be more efficient and easy to finish but if you compel both in certain circumstances to work together then the output will not be fruitful..
The right Gender mix helps. Women bring new perspectives to looking at issues. They also bring the sensitivity balance.
In view of my experience, Men and women, equally left no stone unturned to make my life miserable; so, it is alright to work with both. It was good for me, as my perspective became balanced about human beings, and it improved my logical reasoning; and I am not in any party of feminism and big guys network, I talk about human rights as men, women and transgender along with all living beings' rights.
I don't see any difference. If the persons working with you, do good then it doesn't mean who is there. But it's our mentality that keeps us guessing like , had I been in this or that group of people then I would have done better.

I think two work with both, because Men and women are created differently. For instance, men forget about differences faster and tend to not hold grudges. They discuss issues outside the office more freely among other people and are more apt to open up. Women on the other hand have a holistic approach to issues and are more organized hence are likely to achieve a better-run system.

It depends on the personality, nature of the work scope and role to be responsible for.
Doesn't matter it is men or women, what does matter is finding the right person to work with.
In my humble opinion, we should to see a research as a team work. In other words, there is no difference between male and female in the scope of science and knowledge. The professional ethics of the researcher must be maintained and observed in the research process.

I have always enjoyed working on research problems alone, this is partly because of the nature of research problems that interest me, secondly because i always have been a "lone wolf" type of individual all my life.
In our collaborative book project, women are well represented. I used to invite women to join as co-editors from different parts of the world. Go through our books and see. And sometimes, they work faster and better. I don't know how they do it.
There is no question of preference, its the contribution and expertise which makes a great deal.
It is not about the gender, other things should be taken into consideration to evaluate the performance , behavior , dedication of a person.

It depends upon person's sincerity, honesty and morality towards work which is less dependent upon gender.
I have experienced to work with both men and women. I have wonderful experience as I worked with them. I have no especial preference in this regard, rather I focus on the fact whether the partner I am choosing is cooperative or not. That's all what I prefer. If I do not get cooperation from the partner whether male or female, I change the partner and try to choose one who is more friendly, cooperative and dedicated to work.
It is a tough question to answer objectively, but from experience I can say that a mixed group even if there are more women works well.
It depends on the work at hand; if it is something that requires physical strength, then men are preferred to women. However, if it is something that requires some general skills and knowledge, then either men or women can suffice.
