Banks are more safe than markets...

Do you prefer to run money in banks through deposit and get interest or invest money in financial markets through the available financial instruments?

Think it depends on which stage of life you are in, earning power, amount of money you have, risk appetite, resource you have e.g. knowledge of the financial markets, surrounding economics and your prior experience in the investments or running certain business operations etc.

E.g. if you don't have resources or time to monitor the financial markets' ups & downs or getting experts to help you, you might risk to loose more vs putting your money in bank as fixed deposit which is lower risk etc.

Bank with some interest, rather than markets that go up, but also down.

Investing in financial markets is more likely.

I think investing in a public or private bank is a gamble

The calculation of interest should be reviewed

While compared to financial market. ,banks are safe to invest

Behavioral finance suggests that individuals follow their short-time needs and valuation of opportunity cost so i believe according to risk and reward quote financial markets should be the preference for many investors in terms of ROI/Time, wide exposure to several financial instruments as mentioned with diverse risk profiles and higher level of resilience and flexibility in positioning as vital element of investment strategies.

yes, it is core business model of banks. Now a days, the banks are facing the competition from both domestic and international banks. Therefore, it has to find the areas for non interest income also.
