China's economic and technological growth has made it a global power with geopolitical impact across Eurasia. The country borders on 14 states and has a direct maritime border with three others (Japan, Philippines, South Korea and Taiwan - not recognized as an independent state).
In this sense, the Belt and Road Initiative is not only a plan for building infrastructure but a broad vision for the future of Eurasia integration. This strategic vision comprises geo-economic elements and is based on geopolitical factors. The ability to move forward with the values and ideals that surround the initiative will be essential for its consolidation.

So, What is China Silk road?
China silk road has, all aspects of economic stability, economic growth, connectivity, pillar for being influencial player of global politicized power structure; today, it is for win-win situation, tomorrow, it could be used as win-lose situation as per situation demands.
Do you know what is OBOR (China Silk Road)?
OBOR refers to One Belt One Road which is a China's initiative to connect multiple countries in Eurasia through land roads or sea routes (see diagram attached obtained from Wikipedia) so that multiple infrastructure and economic development projects are possible. This initiative can create win-win for China as well as local countries through this connectedness. E.g. China government / companies can export their expertise, provide loans, supply Chinese products to those countries. At the same time, those countries' governments / companies can attract FDI, create jobs, import / purchase lower cost products from other countries as well as export their products to different countries.
However, some countries also suspicious / cautious on this China OBOR intention in which some might perceive this as another form of neocolonialism or indebtedness to China if some countries don't have the bargaining power or can't repay their loans etc. provided by China. So different countries have different comments on OBOR depending on their point of views & relationship with China.
Also to note - OBOR in Malaysian / Indonesian language is "torch" in English. Hope this torch can serve as a light to illumine the countries along the OBOR rather than to burn bridges between countries.
The Silk Road connecting China with the rest of the world. It is considered the most important commercial road that was used by Muslims to spread the Islamic Religion to countries in Asia. Also it was used to exchange goods between China and countries in Asia, Africa and Europe.

OBOR is a highly advantageous economic road connecting nations around the China. I assure you OBOR would be cause uplifting the economically developing nations
It is the way which China is working to reshape the world silently!
It is a mouthful. The “One Belt” part of it refers to the Silk Road Economic Belt while the “One Road” refers to the 21st-century Maritime Silk Road. Jointly, they're meant to be a revival of the ancient Silk Road trading routes. Don't get too tied to OBOR: China might be toying with a different acronym.May 15, 2017
OBOR is a master plan meticulously contrived by China in 2013 to use it's soft power (economic influence) as a leverage around Eurasian region. Chinese economy is slowing down and need a boost in order to surpass US economy in future, hence OBOR. Apart from it, it is basically a network of roads, rails and sea-ways that connect Europe, Asia and Africa with each other. This connectivity boosts trade in the regions which is a win win situation for the countries associated with OBOR. And of course, China will have lion's share out of it in the future. It will have greater political, economic and military influence in these three continents, ousting USA from the region quietly.
