I want to know the time-series characteristics of demand for manufactured products. Is there a good paper to know the state-of-the-art research on how the demand of manufactured goods fluctuates or grows? If there is no such paper, do you know any papers that treated or questioned related problems?
There are many papers and textbooks that treat demand response to the price changes. I want to know how demand of a manufactured good changes when prices remain constant.
It is natural the time series has weekly, monthly, and seasonal periodicity. Are there any other characteristics? I have been searching for such papers but I could not find one. Please help me.
