The CDC announced today that it is more dangerous than thought, in addition to microcephaly in newborns and Guillain-Barre, the American Academy of Neurology announced that it is the cause of Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis.  Look up their website for more info.

Vicky, the CDC published it's Emerging Infectious Disease journal today.  I posted a link below to a good article about the geography and history of zika.  Also, put a link for the journal as it has many articles about zika.  Hope these are helpful.
