I want to send out a 96 well plate containing bacterial cultures and have all 96 mini-prepped and sequenced by the company. Does anyone know of a commercial source for this and possible pricing?
DNA Analysis is a commercial provider who specializes in Sanger sequencing and fragment analysis. We also provide a number of custom services including plasmid preparation for sequencing. Samples would be purified, scanned by Nanodrop technology to confirm concentration and quality before sequencing. Sequencing includes post electrophoresis analysis and editing to confirm base calls. Since this is a 96 well plate, the cost would somewhere $800 for the plate, a little over $8.00 per sample. This includes the cost to purify the plasmids. If you are interested, you can contact me at [email protected].
Dr. Campbell, Macrogen sequencing systems from USA Has the commercialized sequencing system. They do all kind of sequencing . please go through this link for further information. Here the cost also feasible
We have had wonderful success with Retrogen (http://www.retrogen.com/). They are quick, attentive to your samples (emailing to assess if we are happy with the quality of the reads), and provide the data in a readily accessible format. I use them with my Genetics class and with my research students. They have consistently provided affordable service that works well with our work. The students can retrieve their sequence directly from the company, with a provided password. They have a number of varied services offered on their website, we've only used the sequencing of clones in plasmids.
I have tested several companies, and GeneWiz works best so far. Good turnaround time and very customer friendly. They give special quotes for large volumes.
