The Qur'anic text has multiple facets, it is difficult to accept one and the rest is rejected, but we can rest assured if the interpretation is close to logic and contextual requirements.
It is simply a book, better than some, not as good as others. Projecting qualities into the Qur'an seems to be a lifetime occupation. Seeing its real limitations difficult for many.
I am often astounded by the lengths some people will go to in interpreting certain passages metaphorically when a literal reading is not feasible, and many of the interpretations seem to be incompatible with one another. However, all this is also true of scholars of the Bible and the Vedas, and other holy texts. Unfortunately everything is like everything else in some respect or other, and there do not seem to be any constraints on metaphors in religion. This differs from the situation in the sciences, where new conceptions may be introduced by means of metaphors that function as a useful shorthand or that serve to unify domains previously described in different vocabularies.
"If a slave in every letter of the Qur'an is given a thousand understanding did not reach the end of which God deposited in one verse of his book. Because it is the speech of God, and His Speech are his adjective. As God has no end, As well no end to understand his speech. But each one understands as much as God gives him the power of knowledge. The speech of God not a creature. So the creature's understandings does not reach the end of his understanding ."
It is not only wild interpretations that are a problem. Presumably because they are not very fluent in English, some people are posting comments about Quranic verses, hadiths, or other wise sayings, that are so grammatically garbled that they are difficult to understand. Or perhaps they are posting Google translations of Arabic? (Such translations are usually flawed and stand in need of careful editing and fine-tuning.) Poor wording can result in much miscommunication and misunderstanding. It should be considered a duty to take the time and to make the effort to express things properly.
