I agree with the genus identification, Scarites, but it is impossible with only those photos, to provide more accurate opinion. Genitalia, would probably help, emphasized views of the heads too.
It is difficult to identify insects in photos. The best way would be to ask a Coleoptera specialist. DNA analysis may be unnecessary in most cases mainly if dealing with clear morpho-species.
I`m completely agree with Andras answer, In addition I suggest to prepare some microscopic slides from male and female Genitalia and send them alongside your question. They could be very useful for beetle identification by specialist.

Yes, I agree that the genus is Scarites but to identify to species you need to add more pictures (dorsal, ventral, lateral at least) for more specific body parts that are important to separate the species in this genus.
