Hi Mansour,

if you could provide some data about locality of origin of all these beetles, it would made identification much, much easier. I agree with András that second beetle is some Staphylinid - looks like genus Ocypus. The rest (3rd - ...) is indeed from family Carabidae, but I have no idea, which genuses.

What I see for certain is that the first beetle is from family Silphidae, but genus Blitophaga (its valid name is now Aclypea) has much bigger head and different pattern on elytra. This beetle should belong to genus Silpha instead, but I am not sure about the species, because elytra are not clearly visible. If you could provide locality for this one, it would narrow down the posibilities.

You may be right regarding the first photo. Silpha genus can be a better fit than Blitophaga. Thanks for the correction.

It is a pity that you said nothing about locality and habitat where your insects were found. That I'm not sure of my identification.

First and second beetle - I agree with Pavel and Andras,

3. Calathus ambiguus

4. Probably genus Chlaenius, but I can't say which species

5. It looks like Poecilus cupreus

6. like 5

7. Probably Carabus problematicus

8. Chlaenius (maybe nigricornis)

9 and 10 I can't identify.

My (very partial) help:

1: Silphidae (cfr gen. Silpha); 2: Staphylinidae (cfr gen Ocypus?); 3-7: Carabidae (6: cfr gen. Carabus sensu lato); 8-9: Tenebrionidae (8: subfam. Helopinae).
