We have experiment with two age group (child and young) and 3 within subject variables. We have to analyze separately by age group (child and young) to report the result. We analyzed our results using PROC MIXED. Do we have to use PROC GLM instead of PROC MIXED ? Could it be wrong to use PROC MIXED in this case?

I would have to look at your code and your data to tell for sure or run what you did both ways to check. NOW if there is NO repeated measure ALWAYS use GLM so there will be no confusion. The difference depends on how the computer is told to do the calculation. If you want to know for sure look at Manuals that tell you how computations are done for each SAS Proc or call SAS Institute.
