experimental watershed and catchment studies have long history in world, and especially the US Forest Service has many research studies to help estimate effects of forest management, roading and ethical practices (BMPs) may be what you were referring to. Universities and various agencies have used paired watershed/catchment approaches to aid in not only watershed study, but also ecological study. If you search internet, and cannot find anything, let me know your specific interest such as instream mining effects of clean water below dam releases, some of Kondolf's research is what would apply.

Yes looking on internet isn't good solutions because I m looking for articles and report of successful studies in water management in catchment area and natural water sources and ethics that can suggested by researcher and practitioners in order to make an analysis of this potential case study and make a comparison and have a future vision on local case study on which I concentrate ideas to start working on.
