Just wondering if according to Quantum Field Theory (QFT), a massless quantum field say a photon field for example expands together with the cosmological expansion of space due to dark energy?
And if yes, in what speed? Is this expansion together with space happens in the same speed? And if yes does this imply that during the Big Bang inflation phase the generated photon energy expanded at superluminous speed since it was riding on a superluminous speed v>>c, inflating space?
And if no, thus speed of light is always absolute at c and did not follow the expansion of space during the BB then how you explain the cosmological Horizon Problem? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horizon_problem .
Note: I think I have touched with this question the root of the cosmological unsolved Horizon Problem which has nothing to do with variable speed of light during the inflation or the inflation of space itself but is all about not acknowledging that physical vacuum space is possible a medium for light therefore a type of unknown exotic material that probably does not obey known physics. As a matter of fact all of our known physics could be emergent phenomena from this unknown medium?
