Do I need a spacer/linker between UAS and coding region?

I am trying to construct an UAS driven plasmid. If I use the traditional gateway cloning method there will be some spacer sequence between the UAS and my coding region anyway. However I am lazy and thus I am now considering about having the "UASx10-coding_region" sequence synthesised for me so I can simply put the whole cassette into my vector (a tol2 containing vector).

In such cases, do I need some nucleotides between the UASx10 andd my coding region? Also, if I do, how long should it be?
