My dear Aleš Kralj, we are missing deep logic here! How can be a hypothetical gravitation quanta would themselves gravitate and thus have their own gravitons and these their own again etc, if Gravitational waves are ripples in a fabric of space-time?
That is , Gravitational waves are ripples in space-time....do this space-time ripples traveling on another space-time fabric?

Aleš, general relativity is non linear, that's why "gravitational field" generate gravitational energy. But that's not the only case, QCD is non linear too, and there are quanta of strong interaction field called gluons. Gluons can interact with other gluons, and that is thought to be the explanation of confinement. But the strong force is the strongest force, and gravitation is the weakest one, it is indeed much weaker than electromagnetism, by many orders of magnitude. There is then no divergence, grosso modo a graviton would emit 10^-10 graviton, which in turn would emit 10^-20 graviton. Even around a black hole is there not enough field strength to yield a sizeable effect.
The belief in gravitons is remarkably incoherent. The idea has its origin in quantum theorists' belief that everything is quantum (everything belongs to them!), which led them to associate the three-dimensional orbits of distant binaries with the two-dimensional oscillation of charges along an antenna (possibly because the orbits look two-dimensional in an astronomer's eyepiece!). Our moon creates big slow gravitational waves in its orbit of the earth, but somehow that isn't interesting, because somehow gravitons are only created in exotic situations, and somehow the massive exchange of energy evidenced by the ocean tides doesn't produce the fabulous mass of gravitons that would provide the necessary mediation if gravity were actually a force. Truly bewildering.

I sent you the list of texts in order you can read them and in order to help you this way with some advanced topics on this matter. In reality, in order one can give you an appropriate answer on this topic it is important first of all to understand what kind of doubt you have in mind when you ask "Do Gravitational waves can be quantized similar to light waves?" Let me explain. In reality there are different types of quantization methods and quantization schemes: canonical quantization, covariant canonical quantization, deformation quantization, geometric quantization, loop quantization, path integral approach and so on. I imagine you are talking about the simplest and more direct way to achieve quantization, i.e., through the canonical method. Is it right? So, if this is the point, your question seen to be: is there any canonical method which can be applied to the quantization of gravitational waves, similarly to the canonical method applied to EM waves? On the other hand, light waves and gravitational waves corresponds to very different phenomena. Gravitational waves for instance are 'ripples' in the fabric of space-time caused by some sort of energetic processes in the Universe that would disrupt spacetime in such a way that 'waves' of distorted spacetime would radiate from the source at the speed of light. Light corresponds to the propagation of quanta of the electromagnetic radiation (photons). Your doubt is about the quantization of spacetime or the quantization of the energy carried out by those ripples?
Your doubt is about the possibility to understand some kind of similarity between the graviton, --- a massless, transversely polarized particle carrying energy of hω/2pi and spin 2 h/2pi ---, and the photon? There is one interesting possibility of similarity: the correlation function of two photons observed in coincidence by two radio-telescopes exhibits an enhancement at small values of the transfer momentum of the photons which represents a consequence of the boson nature of the photons, and this correlation is considered to be a proof of the quantized behavior of the EM field. Some people is looking for such kind of correlation involving gravitational waves as a proof of its quantization. Moreover, when you think about quantization of spacetime should remember that using the Schrodinger formalism for instance, the dynamical time operator T satisfies the following equation: [H,T]=iℏ. This means that there are two possibilities associated to this equation: 1) T is self-adjoint and the H operator is unbounded from below (time is a dynamical observable with real eigenvalues, but the energy may be arbitrarily negative) or 2) T is anti-self-adjoint and the H operator is bounded from below (the energy has real positive eigenvalues and time has imaginary eigenvalues). So, both solutions, if we assume time, in quantum mechanics, associated to a dynamical operator, are not acceptable. Should remember, as quoted by Unruh and Wald, that "no dynamical variable in a system with the Hamiltonian bounded from below can act as a perfect clock in the sense that there is always a non-vanishing amplitude for any realistic dynamical variable to 'run backwards'" (Time and the interpretation of canonical quantum gravity, Unruh and Wald, Phys. Rev. 40, 2598, 1989. The alternative approach proposed by Unruh and Wald considers time as a non-dynamical variable. To summarize, in conventional quantum mechanics approaches, time is treated as a classical parameter because the quantum Hamiltonian must be bounded from bellow and this would imply, if we treat time as a field operator T, that the conjugate operator of energy, the time operator T, must be anti-self-adjoint. And this means that T would generate imaginary eigenvalues. Should remember that conjugate variables correspond to pairs of variables mathematically defined as Fourier transform duals linked by the Heisenberg Principle. So, time is the dual of energy. Thus quantization of time is not an appropriate concept in canonical quantization. Unless time is linked to a non-dynamical operator.

Wouldn't that entail gravitational field strength being a function of luminosity?
The sources of gravity are quantized. So gravity is quantized. Theories don't seem to capture the physical reality. From Feynman the graviton is postulated to have a quadrupole moment but no dipole moment.
For a long time it was thought that a graviton could be produced by combining two electromagnetic dipoles. More recently the dipoles have been demonstrated with their interference pattern to be producing a curl free vector potential of kinetic energy which passes through shields and barriers and is detected in a Josephson Junction.
Gravity field is usually represented as potential energy. Moving of a Graviton implies kinetic energy which occurs in this question. Theories don't reconcile the difference. Maybe the Graviton does exist as a field component of localized stress energy like a set of quantum states which satisfy the requirement of potential energy.
