We are presently involved in a two-year project on buckwheat in Northern Italy and Austria. We found a couple of determinate varieties to include in field tests, but they did not outperform the indeterminate ones as we expected. This could have been due to the 2017 growing season, probably too hot for the species.

I thank in advance the RG community, and particularly scientists from Asian countries where buckwheat is largely grown, for their answers and comments.
