I am trying to crosslink E.Coli. cells onto chitosan using glutaraldehyde, but at first it didn't work.  I had tried using chitosan microspheres prepared using the process attached, adding my cells, and then adding glutaraldehyde for a final concentration of .1% v/v in 1 mL total volume.  The mixture was set to mild vortexing for overnight.
