I am studying the effects of cyclophosphamide in mice models and I injected 200 mg/kg, based on mice body weight, into a few mice that I had selected for the experiment. After 6 hours, I collected the serum and run an ALT assay on the samples. However, the levels of ALT are similar to the serum collected from mice injected with saline (controls). In a previous experiment, we had done two different timepoints (2 hours and 6 hours). In that experiment, the ALT levels for the 2 hours seemed to be higher than the 6 hours. Why would this be the case? Thanks!
