DNA extraction and PCR analysis of retrieved vector feed media.

Does anyone know the protocol I can use to extract DNA from artificial membrane feed medium that my vectors were subjected to?

The DNA I need to extract is of phytoplasma cells (wall-less prokaryotes) that is a bacteria. It's injected into the feed media when the vector feeds on it.
