I am labeling very many antibodies with Alexa Fluor 647 fromTHermo Fischer Scientific. From time to time I am having problems when using the antibodies for analysing cells in FACS when the target is low expressed. Alexa Fluor 647 is supposed to be a very bright fluorochrome nd stable but I am wondering if it is possible that the problems I encounter could be caused by some kind of instabilityof the fluorochrome. Would I get other results if I conjugated my antibodies with AF647 from another veondor? Are there differences in the quality of AF647 from different vendors?
