In the 24hrs. dietary recall surveys, information is gotten from the respondents through probing. Being with the respondent a day before the survey means the interviewer may possibly see some of the foods the respondent will consume. Given that sometimes household food surveys have many components like general information, food frequency, dietary recall, food security, food environments, anthropometry etc. I am wondering if keeping dietary recall for the second day of the survey will mean bias in the recall data.
