I have a qualitative paper that reached around 12000 words. I consider submitting it to a journal that uses ScholarOne Manuscripts system and its word limit is 9500.

However, I was told that the system, by default, would not upload this as it exceeds their limit. Is that correct?

Though I am working on cutting this down but I think It will eventually exceed the limit !
