Dear respected veterinarian, Warda Afzal from Pakistan uploaded a case of goat liver with nodules lesions in site of veterinary library.The goat was suffer from fever from last 2 weeks was history.So many comments are from veterinarian like liver-fluke infestation,cysticercosis, tuberculosis. Please help to identify lesion.

It would be necessary to study some biopsies at the light microscope in order to orientate the diagnosis
The most probable diagnosis of this lesions is hydatid cyst which is caused by Echinococcus granulosus/Echinococcus multilocularis. The adult tapeworms infect dogs' gut and eggs are shed with their stool. When goats, sheeps and even humans ingest the eggs, the larvae infect mostly the liver and the lung to form single or multiple cysts called Hydatid cyst.
I think these are echinococcus/hydatid cysts, which are very common in small ruminants. Usually they are in such a large number of cysts (during my research, sometimes because the presence of cysts liver weighing up to 5-6 kg). You have to cut open one cyst
and see the contents of the internal structure clean
