For sintered 18Ni300, under the sintering condition of low vacuum degree, the grain boundary is oxidized. The attachment is XRD and EDS test result. Is the darker second phase mainly Fe2TiO4?
Can you share the XRD pattern? One tip, use Square Root Scale, then you see much better how (and if) the small XRD peaks are all explained by reference card peaks. Also a quick (multi phase) Pawley fit would help to proof or disproof the presence of a phase.
With EDS make spot analysis (not maps), it will clarify the picture. So far it looks to me like darker phases (it may be not one, but two phases) are not really pure Fe2TiO4, and anyway, you do not have as much Ti in your powder.
