For example I want to know if a plastic, textile or media is hydrophobic or hydrophilic? How many hydrophobic or hydrophilic in term of its scale (percentage, rate, etc.)?
you can measure hydrophilic or hydrophobic surface in terms of contact angle value in the unit 'degree' for plastics. In textile you can measure 'drop age' as water will quickly absorb on the sample surface and you will not be able to measure contact angle.
How surface energy analysis can be done by iGC (Inverse Gas chromatography) method? Whether it is useful for all fibers (Natural/Synthetic) . Is technique applicable to single fiber ? Any criteria for diameter of fiber
Method can be used for fabrics, powders, solid films. Minimum requirements is 0.5 m2 of the surface of the tester sample. Look on our papers on powder materials.
