Collective Bargaining (CB) is a process wherein a recognized Union or some representatives of workers negotiate on wages, benefits and service conditions with the Management.

Collective Bargaining is the joint determination of wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment by representatives of labor and management.

It functions to give workers some say in the conditions under which they work. In that sense, it adds an element of democracy and participation to the work place.
