In majority of studies, the curie temperature of pure PVDF has not been explored. The studies which are available they have worked on PVDF copolymers to study the curie temperature via dielectric measurements, DSC or XRD. What is the reason behind this?

The reasons listed by you are acceptable in terms of general properties but for curie temperature, PVDF has a much higher curie temperature than its copolymers. And as you increase the attached TrFE or other monomer units, the curie temperature drops. So, the question is why PVDF, even after having higher Tc, is not studied?
