Waveguide port size must be (In case of microstrip patch antenna)

Wp = 6*width of microstrip feed line

Hp = 5* (substrate height+trace thickness on both sides)

Yes i did do this. I think it has something to do with the mesh cells.... I found a great PDF online that describes mesh cells and the tradeoffs between settings. I will post it here for future reference for others that visit the discussion.
