Hi, I modelled turbulent flow and heat transfer in a 3D pipe in Ansys-Fluent. During post-processing in CFd-Post, I need to obtain local heat transfer coefficient on inner wall. For that I need to make about 200 cross-sections at different axial locations. Is there any way to make these sections at once rather than doing manually one by one. I have to do same operation on 20 other cases.
I also have to make same number of poly-lines in domain. I guess, method to do that would be same as that for multiple cross-sections. Any suggestion is appreciated.

Yes, there is! Two options: an easy and a hard.
1st: create all locations as isosurfaces, polylines, lines, contours, planes, equations, etc.You will create a 'state' or a images layout. Once done, go to FILE> SAVE STATE. This file contains all elements of your analysis including the data source *.res.
OK, you have a State file with a data set. Now you can load the other cases and retain the previous case, or only load this new case. In both cases the data will be processed according to state file. Yo can open de res 1st and in FILE> LOAD STATE and all elements will be applied to this case.
The 2nd one, is to RECORD SESSION. A session is a MACRO file that record any action done in CFD-post. You can recording one following the 1st option, and after, edit it according you needs. But is required some knowledge about sessions commands in CFD-post. Once created a session you only play the session and all action will be done.

I would recommend you to follow the 2nd suggestion of Ricardo Vicente de Paula Rezende.
You can use session file (this is a text file) to build loop functions. In this case you can create one single plane and loop it, saving data to the out text file with the desired variables.
First prepare the state with the data you need to extract from the result file (*.cst) you can prepare the table with results of calculation of the variables you need and use report to save *.html file, next close file or reopen CFD-Post and start recording the session, load the state (*.cst), save report, stop recording.
In the session file (*.cse) you can edit lines of code in the session file *.cse to make loops. I have used it to extract data from *.trn files of transient solution.
The piece of code you need for loop where at Plane1 maximal value of velocity was extracted and saved in OUTPUT file with variable Time for which the velocity value was recorded:
