You can use Point distance (Analysis tools) and XY to Line (Data management tools) in ArcMAP.

Use point distance from proximity tool and choose output file name carefully ...

You can equally try using the Point to Line function in ARCGIS to complement the submission of @Md. Yousuf.

effectiveness would depend on number of data you would like to match. If you have plenty - use some of the mentioned tools. If you have less than 30 IDs, just connect them with lines and use "calculate geometry -> length" in field calculator. If the area is smaller than 13km radius, you can omit geodetic curvature and calculate linear distance in dX,dY matrix. I want to automating the process for a great number of points. I tried in ArcGIS and QGIS and I can measure the distances easily but I would want be insert the data table and obtaine the values without draw all lines.

My table data is similar to the image table. Where the X and Y values represent the position in each moment.

In ArcGIS (ArcINFO license) you can use the “Near” algorithm located in the “Analysis Tools/Proximity” Toolbox.

In QGIS 3.2 you can use the “distance matrix” algorithm located in the “vector analisys/Analysis tool/” window.

As you can only use two datasets, calculate the distances between the first and second and between the second and third. Then extract the values with the same id (input and target) and merge them into a single table.

In the next Github link ( https://goo.gl/1UWESN) I created a little code in R for measure the total distance between the points and create a new polyline shapefile to join the points with the same ID.
