The rural to urban migration especially in states of Jigawa, Sokoto, Zamfara, Yobe clearly worsen theinsecurity and growing communal clashes around settlements too far from the highways(access).

Covid-19 epidemic in Nigeria imported into Lagos, then Abuja and Kano respectively then exploded into community level transmission since no meaningful lockdown directives were followed by the federating units with catastrophic mortality trends and exposing our PHC systems as weak.

There is need to conduct a structured Community Based Survey bearing in mind the population density and also other confounders that are inherent.
