I'm going to design an innovative theranostics device to be used in biomedical sector. I need that the system should be connected in Internet in order to be remote controlled. Can anyone suggest an easy to use IoT board? thanks in advance.
Very much depends on how you want connect your IoT device to network.
Will it be via Wifi, bluetooth gateway, ethernet cable, LTE, LoRa/sigfox network, some other custom solution?

I am using Particle Photon. It has a nice environment for prototyping (Cloud as well as hardware). You need to buy few extra sensors to connect with it. Note that its output voltage is little less than the Arduino board so you might need extra components to enhance the output voltage if your sensor demands more.

There's a new entry in the field, the ESP32 Thing (evolution of the popular ESP8266), available on Sparkfun.
It spots both WiFi and BLE and you can program it with the Arduino IDE.

HI all, I have just completed my IoT platform for monitoring and controlling health data and treatment outcomes by using LabView (National Instruments) IDE + National Instruments Daq card and the IoT Platform provided by Daq.Io Comany (https://www.daq.io/labview/)
I would give the ESP8266 a try. It's a WiFi module that is very low power and very small. I think its size would be beneficial in your application in the biomedical sector. If you're interested in seeing it in action, here's a tutorial for using it:
