In our system, we use sea water that first passes through a 40um mesh drum filter and then through a glass filter. However, we are uncertain if the glass filters are performing effectively.
According to the specifications, the glass filters are supposed to remove 90% of suspended solids sized at 0.2 um. Could you kindly share the method you use to measure TSS (Total Suspended Solids) or any insights on how we can assess the efficiency of our glass filters?
Normal TSS method is difficult to do because water is so clean.
