Hello! I am currently having my undergraduate thesis about the level of burnout among medical students (nursing, medical technologist, pharmacy, etc). We would also be getting their demographic profile such as course taken, yr level, gender, age, and student status (irregular or regular) and relate it to their level of burnout. Is this still correlational or differential or cross study? Any other suggestions? Thank you in advance.

I personally like mixed methods for your research objective, especially the sequential exploratory design, starting with a qualitative design to gather all aspects of opinions, followed by a quantitative survey to collect opinions from a larger group of students.
Thematic analysis may be preferred for the qualitative part. For the quantitative analysis, the exact objectives of your research should be considered. The selection of statistical tests could be depended on your objectives and type of data.
